The Steve Miller Band: Greatest Hits, 1974-78 is a compilation album by the American rock band Steve Miller Band, released in November 1978 by Capitol Records. The album includes singles from the band’s albums Sailor, Fly Like an Eagle, and Book of Dreams, as well as the previously unreleased track “Jungle Love”, which was recorded during the sessions for1976’s Rock Love.

“The Joker” and “Fly Like an Eagle” both reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while “Abracadabra” and “Jungle Love” both topped the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 1986.

In a contemporary review for The Village Voice, Robert Christgau found the material “catchy and likable enough”, but ultimately deemed the album unnecessary due to the band’s decline in popularity. AllMusic’s Donald A. Guarisco later gave the album three out of five stars, stating that it “does a good job of documenting the band’s peak years”.
